Meet Luca! This gorgeous Arabian gelding is the newest member of Foundation Farm. Originally purchased in Spring of 2020 by Mark and Kris for Kris’s personal show horse, we quickly found that Luca loves interacting with people and is an amazing EAL horse! We are happy he will be involved in service to our program, he will be happy to meet everyone!
“Flicka” is a 20 years young Quarter Horse mare who is extremely easy going and loves her pasture time! Flicka had been passed around from farm to farm in the past few years so we are glad to provide her with her “forever” home where she is loved by all who come!
“Winnie” is a 10 year old bay Arabian mare that came to the farm when she was only 1 year old. Winnie’s job is mainly private sessions and being a busy-body around everyone else. She is definitely a girly-girl – she enjoys being brushed, braided, painted on, and fussed over. She’s the first one to holler in the morning when you step outside and she LOVES watermelon!
“Sam” is a 19 year old palomino Quarter Horse gelding. Sam came to the farm a few years ago. Sam worked hard on a ranch in Montana prior to coming to Minnesota. At first Sam wasn’t sure about all the cuddling and kisses he received at the farm when he got here, but now he is the horse that wants to be hugged and loved on before going out to pasture in the morning. He’s like a giant sized puppy dog!
“Renny” is a 16 year old Arabian gelding. His name means “small but mighty” which matches his refined frame and big personality. Renny is a great kid’s horse and fun to ride. He REALLY loves treats of all kinds and will nod his head enthusiastically if you ask him if he’d like a treat!
